Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, Upworks, Freelancer, Fiverr, email campaigns, networking, social media and online research.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective lead generation strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with overall sales goals.
- Proposal and Presentation:
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and close deals with clients.
- Ensure the successful transition of clients to the delivery or implementation teams.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to achieve business objectives.
- Provide feedback from the market to assist in the development of new products or services.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.
- Analyze the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (some roles may require an MBA).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
