Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion.
    • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Identify and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, Upworks, Freelancer, Fiverr, email campaigns, networking, social media and online research.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective lead generation strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with overall sales goals.
  • Proposal and Presentation:
    • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
    • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
    • Negotiate terms and close deals with clients.
    • Ensure the successful transition of clients to the delivery or implementation teams.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to achieve business objectives.
    • Provide feedback from the market to assist in the development of new products or services.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (some roles may require an MBA).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
